Looking for something to do on this rather warm El Dorado County weekend....On Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th Colibri Ridge Winery & Vineyard will be celebrating it's 5th year anniversary. They will also be celebrating the latest release of award winning wines, 2005 Fair Play Mourvedre (Gold & Best of Class at the Amador County Fair), and the 2005 El Dorado Petite Sirah (Silver at the 2009 Amador County Fair). Enjoy live entertainment with the talented local artist Johnny Mojo, and gourmet barbequed hamburgers & cheeseburgers will be available for $5.00 each (no charge for Club Colibri wine club members). During the celebration there will be special discounts on wines. On Saturday they will be celebrating from 12:00 to 5:00 and on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00. Come and enjoy good food, good entertainment and of course good wine.
And of course, for those of you keeping track...this is our 7th anniversary here at the Albert Shafsky House B&B in Placerville...Hard to believe, thank you to all who have stayed and made us better innkeepers over the years...we consider you friends.
