A Wondersful Place to Stay - Review of Albert Shafsky House Bed and Breakfast, Placerville, CA - TripAdvisor

Nice review from a happy guest! Thank you! A Wondersful Place to Stay - Review of Albert Shafsky House Bed and Breakfast, Placerville, CA - TripAdvisor: "Rita & Stephanie innkeepers are the Best! Very friendly and accommodating. The B & B is convenient to town, short walking distance over a footbridge. A lot of nice restaurants a short walk from the foot of the bridge. Rita made a great suggestion for each of the three nights we were there.

We were greeted upon arrival with bottle red Wine from Boeger Winery, very nice touch. Found time to visit Boeger and bought several more bottles of the Barbera wine.

Room and bathroom were very clean, the sheets were as soft as silk. The bed was very comfortable. I saw the earplugs next to the bed that people have talked about, but we didn't need them in the Vineyard Room. Loved the decor of the house. Felt at ease.

Rita outdoes herself preparing breakfast. Cup of mixed fresh fruit for starters. Scones or apple baked bread follows. Special baked apple pancakes or eggs Benedict garnished beautifully. Could be in a magazine and are delicious. The French toast made with a croissant was delicious."

Feeling like getting Innspired?

Now that November is upon us, we always start to think about heading to the best B&B conference, the one put on by the California Association of Bed & Breakfast Inns (CABBI)

Join us in San Diego as we Celebrate 20 Years of CABBI (okay, we have not been members quite that long, but that is how long the Association has been around supporting inns).  In all the years we have been attending this trade show and educational venue, Rita and I both have gained so much.  Whether you feel like you need to stay up on trends (and who doesn't in this economy), need some new decorating or breakfast tips, or feel like you are needing to network, this is THE PLACE to be in January!

Ever wanted to become an innkeeper? Why not join us at the 2011 InnSpire Conference & Trade Show and attend the special CABBI 20th Anniversary Dinner!

The goal of the 2011 InnSpire Conference & Trade Show is education and celebration!
Educating the California Bed & Breakfast innkeeper has always been a top priority
for CABBI. This year’s workshops will focus on marketing, operations and technology
with sessions for beginners and advanced levels.

Don't miss out on the Early Bird Discounts.
Register by December 15th!
