A few American River events

Always a great group, the American River Conservancy has a couple of great events. Both are just a few minutes from our Placerville bed and breakfast.

Using Your Spice Rack as a Medicine Cabinet

Saturday, Jan. 10th 10:30 am - 1 pm
Many people don't know they have an amazing medicine chest for colds, flu, upset stomach and other acute ailments right in their spice rack. Candice Cantin will show you how to use the common spices you know and love for home-made medicines. FREE TO MEMBERS/ $5 non-members

Join BLM Botanist, Al Franklin and ARC Staff as we plant Oak Seedling at Cronan Ranch
Monday, Jan. 12th, 2009
9 am to 12 noon (ish)
Pedro Hill staging area.
Event happens light rain or shine. Recommended dress is long pants and long sleeve shirts, sturdy shoes, eye and sun protection, and gloves. Bring water and any snacks you'll want. Tools will be provided.
